At MediaFetch ("we", "our", or "the Service"), we take user privacy and data security seriously. This Privacy Policy outlines what information we process, how long media files remain on our servers, and our commitments to zero unnecessary tracking.

2. The 60-Minute File Retention Guarantee

When you upload an audio or video file to MediaFetch, or process an authorized media stream, the file is stored in a private directory inaccessible to public web crawlers. All uploaded and converted media files are permanently purged from server physical storage 60 minutes after creation. We do not keep permanent archives or backups of user-submitted media.

3. Information We Collect

• Account Data: If you register an account, we store your chosen username, email address, and a cryptographically salted bcrypt password hash. We never store plaintext passwords.
• Payment Information: All payment transactions for our Starter Pass (₹29) and Pro VIP Pass (₹49) are processed directly by our RBI-licensed payment gateway partner, Razorpay. MediaFetch does not store credit card numbers, debit card PINs, or UPI MPINs.
• System & Security Logs: For server defense against DDoS and brute-force abuse, our firewall temporarily logs client IP addresses, browser User-Agents, and timestamps.

4. Cookies and Web Storage

We use essential session cookies strictly necessary to maintain your login session and CSRF security token. We also utilize local browser storage (localStorage) to save your preferred theme mode (Dark Mode or Light Mode).

5. Advertising & Third-Party Cookies (Google AdSense)

MediaFetch may display compliant third-party advertisements served by Google AdSense to visitors on our free tier. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.

6. Data Rights & Account Deletion

You maintain the right to purge your conversion history from your account dashboard at any time, or request full account termination by contacting privacy@mediafetch.local.
